May 15: Maine Matchmaker Event

Maine’s Meet the Buyer Matchmaking Event takes place on May 15 at the Augusta Civic Center, bringing together municipal, state, and federal agencies, prime contractors, and small businesses for a full day of targeted networking. June 26: DoD OSBP Workforce Awards Event (virtual)

While we are unable to gather in person for the awards celebration this year, the importance of honoring the exceptional contributions of the Department's small business professionals and members of the acquisition community that influence small business participation in defense procurements remains unchanged. Their work has had a meaningful impact, and this virtual celebration ensures we take the time to recognize their dedication and leadership.

This event will include the 11th annual DoD Small Business Vanguard Awards Program that honors members of our community whose work sustains and improves the health of the defense industrial base. The nominees selected for the awards demonstrated excellence and significantly contributed to the small business mission during FY24.
 
As part of this year's workforce awards event, we are also recognizing those who have earned the DAU Small Business Professional Credential by successfully completing courses in baseline business processes, tools, legislation, policies, and procedures, including small business and other targeted programs.
 
We are planning a dynamic virtual experience designed to celebrate our honorees in new and creative ways.
