The Office of Small Business Programs was well represented at SOF Week, May 6-10 in Tampa, Fla. SOF Week is an annual event for the international Special Operations Forces (SOF) community to learn, connect, and honor its members. The event drew 15,000 attendees and is jointly sponsored by USSOCOM and the Global SOF Foundation.

OSBP Director Farooq Mitha spoke about how the Department’s Small Business Strategy is designed to promote a strong, dynamic, and robust small-business industrial base by focusing on reducing barriers to entry, increasing set-aside competitions, and leveraging programs to grow the industrial base.
