Minority Business Enterprise Advisory Council Launches

Dr. Laura Taylor-Kale, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy, represented the Department at the inaugural Minority Business Enterprise Advisory Council meeting on May 31 hosted by the Minority Business Development Agency - U.S. Department of Commerce. This milestone event aims to enhance support for minority business enterprises nationwide. The Department of Defense is committed to expanding and diversifying participation in government contracting and is looking forward to working with the Council to break down barriers and create opportunities for minority-owned businesses.
