If your company provides goods or services to the U.S. government and deals with classified information, you might need a Facility Clearance (FCL). This clearance is crucial for ensuring security and trust in handling sensitive data.
Mandated by the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) oversees the process of granting, issuing, and monitoring FCLs. Essentially, they make sure that entities are eligible and capable of safeguarding classified information.
In simpler terms, if your business wants to work with the government on classified projects, you'll need to go through a clearance process managed by the DCSA. It's all about keeping information safe and secure. Learn more>>
