OSBP Recognized for Exceeding Subcontracting Goals

The Department of Defense was honored with the National Veteran Small Business Coalition - NVSBC Champions Award for meeting or exceeding goals established for subcontracting to service-disabled and/or veteran-owned small businesses (SD/VOSBs) in FY22 at their annual gala on Wednesday night. Accepting the award for the Office of Small Business Programs was Yudi Carmona, Small Business Technical Advisor.

The NVSBC Veteran Small Business Advocate Awards Gala recognizes federal agencies and large government prime contractors for their efforts to meet and exceed contracting goals. Additionally, these awards recognize individual veterans, veteran-owned small businesses, and employees of veteran-owned businesses.

NVSBC is a non-profit organization for veteran entrepreneurs and small businesses working as federal contractors. NVSBC represents over 47,000 veteran-owned small businesses registered to do work with the federal government.
